Heiji Choy Black, founder of Jeune Otte and art collector, welcomed ALMASIKA into her dream Chicago home. The luncheon was part of a series of summer trunk shows. 

Luhring Augustine Gallery Trunk Show

ALMASIKA hosted a magical trunk show at the Luhring Augustine Gallery in Chelsea, New York City. This trunk show illustrates the give and take between the contemporary art world and our designs, our pieces surrounded by Rituse Mishima glass sculptures and Philip Taafe paintings.

Catherine Sarr, ALMASIKA founder and CEO, alongside her husband, Mamadou-Abou Sarr, passionately collect and support Art Initiatives and institutions in the U.S., France and West Africa. The SARR Prize funded by the SARR Collection presents three awards annually to current Les Beaux-Arts Paris students for excellence in a body of artistic work.
